What were we created for? As we continue our series, This Is Only The Beginning, Pastor CB takes us into Genesis 2 to explore God’s purpose for humanity from the very beginning. Through this sermon, we discover that our purpose is not simply about what we do, but about how we live in relationship with God and reflect His design for our lives.
About beacon: beacon is a dynamic, multi-cultural, multi-generational church in the heart of Denver, CO, dedicated to helping people know Jesus, grow in faith, and shine His light in the world. We believe in the truth and authority of God’s Word, the power of the Gospel to transform lives, and the call for every believer to walk in faith, serve others, and live on mission.
About Pastor CB Barthlow: Saved at age 7 but later trapped in 15 years of addiction, Pastor CB Barthlow was miraculously delivered by Jesus on May 5, 2010. Since then, he has preached in churches, prisons, homeless shelters, and anywhere people need the hope of Christ. In 2019, CB and his wife Shannel planted beacon on the very street corner where he once bought and sold drugs. They live in Denver with their two football-loving sons and Great Dane named Pistol.
